Randy Pardue has a gift and passion for taking the truths of God’s word and teaching it in a way that makes it simple to grasp. His wit and humor show up in a way that makes deep truths fun and relatable.

He is a passionate student of the Word and an encourager in every way. He teaches verse by verse through the bible on his daily on his video-cast, “The Daily Dose of BeRefreshed."

He and his wife, Tammy, met in high school in their hometown of Birmingham. They have four grown children, and ten grand kids.

They have served in ministry for over 40 years.

Yes, this is a church-- a different kind church that we believe finds its roots all the way back in the Bible.

We believe that much about the American church today is broken and not suited for the times that we find ourselves in. We believe the church has become about buildings, numbers, shows and motivational presentations.

We are by intention a Sunday evening church, for several reasons. We believe it fits the pace & rhythm of today’s families. It allows for a Sunday morning ease for rest, brunch, and enjoying Sabbath. It creates the feel of a longer weekend.

We envision a church that is focused on worshiping and knowing the God who created us-- a gathering focused around three areas: LIGHT, LIFE and LOVE

We believe as we gather together to learn what God’s word, the Bible has to say, that we will walk in truth. Truth becomes a light to lead us into an incredible life. 

We believe that time in our gatherings to build relationships with people who are learning the same things will create healthy relationships where we can encourage each other, in a way that we live the life that God desires and refreshes us.

We believe that as we focus more on others, those inside and outside the church we will help others to experience genuine love. There is a deficit of love in today’s culture, we believe the church should be the place where people experience the truth and love of God in powerful ways.

We think our gatherings feel like a gathering of great friends and family-- where people gather early simply to catch up on life. 

A place where we can sing songs that shift our perspective in a way that words can’t. That the music is less about the stage and more about the heart.

There will be a reading from the sacred text of God’s word, and there will be a time of engaging in learning the true power of the unfiltered word of God.

We envision a time of interaction about what was taught and opportunity to incorporate a variety of ways to respond like celebrating communion. Praying together or by yourself, Lighting a candle to symbolize your desire for wisdom or for the needs of loved ones.

We envision many other gatherings small and large to help us learn, experience community and to serve others.

Feel free to dress as comfortable as you choose to. Most will be dressed in casual clothes, others in business casual and still others may choose to dress a little more formal. You, not your style, matters to us.
